Hi there!

I'm Angela Nash Blackwell, an Aussie who has landed in Texas.  How and why, you ask?  November 2013 in Sydney, I married this wonderful fellow who happened to be a West Texas native.  It seems that Texas has a strong magnetic power in bringing people back home.  Otherwise said, the Texas Tech University Museum needed his exact skill set to reinvigorate it's image and place in the community.  Packing up our worldly possessions and setting off from Sydney NSW to Lubbock TX, here we are in the flattest landscape imaginable, where he is going back to his roots and I am branching out.

I am a fashion designer by trade, and fashion pattern maker (www.ampersander.com).  I am a keen foodie and cook, culture vulture and Christian.  All of the above look vastly different in New South Wales, Australia and the wilds of South-West USA.
